Care That Changes as You Change.
Treatment Should Change as You Change.
Early care may focus more on calming pain and irritation. As you improve, treatment should become more active and progressively prepare your body for the movements and demands you need to handle.
That progression is how PSS thinks about care.
Calm and Recover
Restore and Rebuild
Return and Thrive

Move Better. Function Better. Get Back to Doing What Matters.
Chiropractic care at Performance Sport & Spine focuses on restoring movement where your body is not moving or functioning the way it should.
Our doctors use specific manipulation and mobilization techniques based on your examination, comfort, condition and goals. Chiropractic care is often combined with manual therapy and rehabilitation so improved movement can carry into everyday life, work and activity.
Diversified Technique
Hands-on joint manipulation based on examination findings and movement restrictions.
Flexion-Distraction
A table-assisted technique using controlled movement and distraction for selected spinal conditions.
Gonstead Technique
A detailed approach to examination and specific spinal manipulation.
Activator Method
A low-force, instrument-assisted approach for selected patients or conditions.
Work Directly on the Tissue That Is Limiting Movement.
Injury, training and repetitive stress can leave muscles and connective tissues painful, tight or restricted. We use hands-on treatment to improve movement and support recovery.
Treatment may include Active Release Techniques, cupping, Graston Technique and FAKTR. The technique is chosen based on the problem in front of us and is often combined with rehabilitation so changes made during treatment carry into better function.
Active Release Techniques
Hands-on assessment and treatment of selected muscles, tendons, and surrounding tissues.
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy
Specialized tools may be used to work with selected areas of soft-tissue restriction.
FAKTR
A movement-based approach combining soft-tissue treatment with functional positions and movement.
Cupping
May be incorporated as a supportive technique for selected areas of muscular tension or restriction.

Feeling Better Is the Beginning. Trusting Your Body Again Is the Goal.
Rehabilitation rebuilds the mobility, stability, strength, and control that pain or injury can take away.
Your program starts where you are and progresses toward what you actually need to do.
For one patient, that may mean lifting a child, sitting through a workday, or walking comfortably.
For another, it may mean getting back to the gym, running, golfing, lifting, or competing.
The goal is for the work you do in the clinic to transfer into the life you live outside it.
Focus areas: Mobility • Stability • Strength • Movement
Treat Where It Hurts. Look Beyond Where It Hurts.
That tight muscle that keeps coming back. The knot that never seems to release. The shoulder that will not move the way it should.
Sometimes the painful area is only part of the problem.
Dry needling uses thin, sterile needles placed into carefully selected muscles and soft tissues to address areas of tension, sensitivity, and restricted movement.
At Performance Sport & Spine, our doctors use Integrative Systemic Dry Needling based on the methodology developed by Dr. Yun Tao Ma.
Rather than simply chasing individual trigger points, we consider how muscles, movement patterns, and different areas of the body may be contributing to what you feel.
Dry needling is often combined with chiropractic care, manual therapy, and rehabilitative exercise.
The goal is not simply to make a tight muscle feel different on the treatment table. We want to turn that change into better movement and better function when you get back to your life.

A Personalized Needling Approach That Connects Traditional Principles With Modern Clinical Thinking.
Acupuncture uses thin, sterile needles placed at carefully selected points based on the patient’s condition and goals.
At PSS, treatment can draw from traditional acupuncture principles while also considering anatomy, the nervous system, and musculoskeletal function.
Acupuncture may be incorporated into care for pain, muscle tension, headaches, and other conditions when it makes sense within the overall treatment plan.
It is not treated as an isolated solution.
When appropriate, acupuncture can be combined with chiropractic care, manual therapy, movement, and rehabilitation according to what the patient needs at that stage of recovery.
Advanced Light Therapy That Supports Recovery When Painful Tissue Needs Help Settling Down.
Performance Sport & Spine uses LightForce Class IV Laser Therapy to deliver therapeutic light energy into targeted tissues.
This process, known as photobiomodulation, may be incorporated into care for selected muscle, tendon, ligament, and joint problems.
Laser therapy is most valuable when it helps move the overall plan forward.
We may use it during an earlier stage of care to support pain management and recovery, then progressively shift the focus toward movement, strength, and function as you improve.
May be considered for
Muscle injuries, Tendon problems, Selected ligament injuries, Joint-related conditions & Selected overuse problems

Take the Pressure Off and Start Moving Forward.
Back or neck pain from a disc problem can affect almost everything you do. Sitting, driving, sleeping, working, and exercising can become difficult, especially when pain, numbness, or tingling begins traveling into an arm or leg.
Performance Sport & Spine uses the Triton DTS Spinal Decompression System to gently apply controlled traction to targeted areas of the neck or lower back.
For qualifying patients with disc bulges, disc herniations, degenerative disc conditions, sciatica, or radiating symptoms, decompression may be considered as one part of the recovery plan.
But getting pressure off the problem is only the beginning.
As you improve, we progressively shift the focus toward restoring movement, developing stability, and rebuilding strength.
The goal is to help you rely less on treatment, regain confidence in your spine, and get back to the activities pain has taken away.
Common reasons it may be considered
Disc Herniation, Disc Bulge, Sciatica, Radiating Arm or Leg Symptoms & Selected Degenerative Disc Conditions
Not every disc problem is appropriate for decompression. Evaluation comes first.
Another Option When Progress Has Stalled.
SoftWave Therapy uses acoustic wave technology to deliver mechanical energy into targeted areas of painful or injured tissue.
It may be considered for selected tendon, muscle, and other musculoskeletal problems, particularly when an area has been slow to progress.
At PSS, SoftWave is used as part of a larger recovery strategy.
The purpose is not to collect treatments.
The purpose is to create enough change that the patient can keep progressing.
May be considered for
Selected tendon problems, Muscle injuries, Overuse conditions or Persistent musculoskeletal pain

Support Recovery From the Inside Out.
Nutrition can influence how you feel, recover, and respond to the demands you place on your body.
When it is relevant to your care, we can help identify practical nutrition strategies based on your goals, lifestyle, and individual needs.
Recommendations may include changes in food choices, hydration, and targeted nutritional supplementation when appropriate.
Nutrition is used as one part of the overall plan, not as a replacement for movement, rehabilitation, or appropriate medical care.
Areas that may be addressed
Recovery, Energy, Hydration, Performance, Practical food choices & Targeted supplementation when appropriate
